CONTENT OF THE MEETING
2. Coordinator’s report
2.1. The focus this month has been on a) getting the newengalndnvc.org website ready and b) on producing the fundraising appeal letter. Both are still in progress. The website has the capacity for posting training announcements and online sign-ups and payments, and has the capacity for people signing up to join the newsletter/mailing list. We are still working on the capacity to post practice groups and to populate the database with our already existing lists of interested people.
Action Step: Jerry will pool and sort the mailing lists from CNVC, his own, Joe’s and Pan’s. Then pass them to Pan who will work with Madhu to enter then into the database.
2.2. Except for some organizing that Karen Andrews is doing the Berkshires not a lot has happened around organizing our regions. We joined Joe in celebrating that all supervisors at the Connecticut Valley Hospital will receive training in NVC conflict resolution.
Action Steps: Jerry will coordinate with Shivani and Bonnie to set up a meeting of people interested in organizing NVC in Eastern Mass/Rode Island for sometime in January. Joe will continue to network in CT. Vermont NVC will be meeting soon. Jerry will reach out to Peggy in Maine. We will follow up local organizing a face to face meeting early in 2009 (February?).
3. Discussion of GCC Trainers Fee/Regional Center Proposals
